Laura has been a member of the Greater Naples YMCA for just over a year. She decided to join when her twin daughters began kindergarten. “I felt like I had been fired,” she says as she describes the feeling of her children leaving for school. That day Laura decided to join the YMCA! Laura had been a member at another facility, but decided to switch to the Y because we offered so many classes with the membership. “Once I joined I realized how many other mothers were in the same situation as I was. Children off to school and nothing to do all day. Since I joined the Y the kids and I have made so many great new friends. It inspires me to get up and go on the days I don’t really feel like it. The YMCA is a great family facility, we truly enjoy the friendly staff and members who make us feel so welcome.”
