1977 Child Care program initiated

1980 Child care classroom building added
1981 Tennis Center completed
1982 Annual Support Campaign initiated
1983 YMCA Endowment Board established
1988 Comprehensive facility opens
1990’s
1991 Former Gaynor Child Development center opens on site of Naples Daily News
1992 Tennis and maintenance buildings expanded
1995 Activity building/Fitness expansion
1997 Bonita Springs community added to service area
1999 Groundbreaking for Norris Aquatic Center
2000’s
2000 Norris Aquatic Center opens on grounds of Community School of Naples
2001 Bonita Springs Capital Campaign kicks off
2004 Bonita Springs ground breaking
2005 Bonita Springs YMCA Grand Opening
2007 Official name change to YMCA of the Palms
